Dear Parents,
This week we worked on the letter "Nn." The children printed the letter "Nn," and added it to their letter book. In addition, the children beaded necklaces themselves; they really enjoyed this activity. They also made neckties, which they colored themselves. Due to the flu season and to tie in with the letter “Nn,” the children colored a boy or girl blowing his or her nose. We then talked about wiping our noses with a tissue, not our hands or sleeves. We also talked about how to cough into our bent elbow, not into our hands, as this spreads germs. Next week we will be on the letter "Jj," as in jacks, jet, jam, jellybean, and jumprope. Please have your child bring in a small item for the language chain, and the completed homework sheet. Sheets and towels went home on Thursday, please return them on Monday ready for rest time. Please look over the re-registration information, available online. There is a Parent meeting next week on Thursday, the 16th, please join Mrs. Giron, for up coming events for our school.
